Billing Coordinator

CPA MOMS is looking for a virtual accounting professional with positive communication skills who is extremely detail-oriented, methodical and a problem solver. This individual will report directly to CPA MOMS Controller and is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures in billing. An amazing opportunity to work with our Franchisees to help support and grow their firms by maintaining the daily tasks of billing processing and CRM management. Other tasks include maintain CPA MOMS key performance indicator (KPI) stats sheet and various other tasks to support the Controller.

The entire CPA MOMS culture is family based. All of its leaders and franchisees are mompreneurs, so you will have full flexibility and autonomy to make your own schedule. That being said, we are looking for someone ideally in the PST time zone who is very structured in managing his/her schedule to ensure recurring tasks are completed timely and consistently during normal work hours.

Flexibility to work additional hours at the end of the month for reconciliation, trouble shooting issues, assisting with preparing month end and/or quarterly reports is requested along with attending a monthly leadership call on video.

Our ideal candidate is an accounting professional who understands numbers and reconciliations, considers themselves a perfectionist, and must be meticulous with the ability to block off time without distractions while working. Also must have the ability to communicate with clients using professional and friendly tone to resolve payment issues and address issues or updates to our franchisees concerning status on their billing agreements.

The position is for a part-time 1099 independent contractor.

COMPENSATION: $15 – $20 per hour (1099 Independent Contractor)

Pre-Qualifications
Please only apply if you have the following:

  1. 1 year min bookkeeping or data entry experience
  2. Experience writing and communicating professionally
  3. At least 10 hours per week of availability with the ability to grow when needed
  4. Tech Savvy – ability to learn database and processes quickly

Optional requirements (Priority is given to those who have the following):

  1. Experience in any or all the following software – Authorize.Net, DocuSign, CRMs, Bill.com, GoogleSheets, Excel, Trello and Slack
  2. Experience in a customer service
