Leadership Series – Having Enough Of Everything

CPA Blog |

As a woman who leads others, whether that’s at work or at home, your mindset around lack and scarcity has a huge impact on how you show up in the world.  Whether it’s a lack of time, resources, money, love, or people, how you think, feel, and behave directly impacts others, more than you probably realize..

When you focus on lack and think that there is never enough, that more is better, or that it’s always going to be this way, you not only affect how you feel, but you also affect those around you as well.

Unfortunately, an attitude of lack often leads to feeling hopeless, helpless, and that life is unfair – none of which fuels behavior that supports being a strong leader.  When you believe there isn’t enough, you end up NOT showing up enough in a supportive way.

The issue is the idea that there’s not enough – what is enough?

The truth is that sufficiency isn’t measurable, it’s decidable.

Having enough is what you experience when you decide it’s enough.  It’s important to understand that you generate the context of what’s enough by what you choose to think and believe.

There actually is no amount of striving for more that will fill the void of lack and scarcity – until you re-examine what “enough” really means, you’ll never be satisfied.

Thankfully, an abundant mindset not only lifts you up, but also those you lead.  When you lead from a space of having enough of everything, you empower others to see through that lens as well.

As you commit to finding abundance all around you, you will create a profound shift in your experience of sufficiency – with work, with others, with life, and with yourself.

As a leader, be willing to become aware of how your scarcity mindset is affecting you and others..

Great leaders believe they have enough of everything – do you?

Let’s be honest – the world needs better leaders at work and at home.  Are you ready to become a better leader?
